2020 NFL Mock Draft Overload

Included in this post is Mel Kiper’s Mock Draft 4.0, CBS Sports (Bucky Brooks), NFL.com’s Peter Schrager, and PFF’s Steve Palazzolo’s Mock Drafts all in one list. Combining all these into one location with my commentary should be all you could possibly need for the NFL Draft on Thursday. Enjoy!

Picks 1–10 Draft Analysis

Bengals pick 1- Clear pick here is Joe Burrow. Hometown kid and is the building block they need. They will not answer the phone for a trade unless Burrow forces their hand- unlikely.

Redskins Pick 2- Chase Young Edge. Reminds me of Jadeveon Clowney when he came out, total freak athlete. I’d also at least consider Tua but seems extremely unlikely.

Lions Pick 3- Jeff Okudah CB, they will try as hard as they can to trade back. If they can’t they should take the OSU CB but Derrick Brown DT is a big position of need too.

Giants Pick 4- Jedrick Wills OT, this will come down to whoever Dave Gettleman likes more. Kind of a toss up considering he rarely knows who to pick, but my pick would be Wills because he likely will stick at tackle whereas Wirfs projects as a Guard longterm.

Dolphins Pick 5- Justin Herbert, the healthier QB is Herbert who has nailed this process.

LA Chargers Pick 6- Tua Tagovailoa QB, is the big name that can give the Chargers some buzz in LA. Yes, their biggest need is QB AND fan engagement.

Panthers Pick 7- Isaiah Simmons LB, replacement for Luke Kuechy? Yes, please.

Cardinals Pick 8- Tristan Wirfs OL, They need an offensive lineman who can rotate their way around.

Jaguars Pick 9- Mekhi Becton OT, some say he will drop further because of the failed drug test but we’ll see.

Browns Pick 10- Derrick Brown DT, one of the top talents only falls this far because positional value is lower at defensive tackle.

Picks 11–21

Jets Pick 11- Andrew Thomas OT, desperate need for the Jets who would take Mekhi Becton if he is there and did not bomb the interviews.

Raiders Pick 12- Jerry Jeudy WR, Raiders are in need of a WR and have been building their offense for two years and he’s the top receiver in this draft.

49ers Pick 13- Henry Ruggs WR, Add Tyreek Hill to the 49ers. Sounds like fun right? Enter Henry Ruggs

Bucs Pick 14- Josh Jones OT, tough slot for the Bucs would look to either trade up or down here. If forced to choose they really need a tackle, would also consider CJ Henderson CB.

Broncos Pick 15- CeeDee Lamb WR, strong outside reciever opposite Cortland Sutton. Justin Jefferson could also be a consideration. Would try to move ahead of the 49ers for Ruggs as well.

Falcons Pick 16- Javon Kinlaw DT, looks like the perfect fit at tackle. Would either trade up or down if given a strong enough offer.

Cowboys Pick 17- C.J. Henderson CB, would be a dream come true in Dallas they desperately need to replace Byron Jones.

Dolphins Pick 18- K’Lavon Chaisson LB, 3/4 linebacker in Brian Flores’ system is a nice fit. Trade back candidate here.

Raiders Pick 19- Kristian Fulton CB, mixed results of what people think about the LSU corner but its a high position of need and the top two corners are off the board. Pro Football Focus loves his advanced statistics.

Jaguars Pick 20- Xavier McKinney S- A lot of needs if they stay here. Trade back position to load up on draft capital for Trevor Lawrence.

Eagles Pick 21- Justin Jefferson WR, flying up draft boards and had an excellent combine seems like a good fit.

Picks 22–32

Vikings Pick 22- Antoine Winfield S/CB, after losing a lot on the defensive side of the ball in free agency they need to deliver in the secondary. WR is deep, they can wait.

Patriots Pick 23- Jordan Love QB, they WILL spend a premium pick on a QB. They traded their second rounder for Sanu and a third round QB is not gonna start this year. Elite talent with Belichick’s coaching should deliver.

Saints Pick 24- Patrick Queen LB, needs are abundant across the defense so AJ Terrell, Kristian Fulton, or Antoine Winfield are there too.

Vikings Pick 25- Brandon Aiyuk WR, one of the top playmakers in college the Vikings need to replace Diggs. I would also consider Tee Higgins, Denzel Mims, or Lavisa Shaunalt.

Dolphins Pick 26- D’Andre Swift RB, they need a running back after Mark Walton and Kalen Ballage were lowest in the NFL in YPC. Also, I think Mark Walton got arrested 4 times last year.

Seahawks Pick 27- AJ Epenesa Edge- Seahawks in the bottom five in every pass rushing statistic they need best pass rusher available. And then a few more after this.

Ravens Pick 28- AJ Terrell CB, could look at Kenneth Murray here both solid options but if they want to stop Mahomes, they need to load up on the secondary.

Titans Pick 29- Yetur Gross-Matos Edge, Trade down spot for the Titans but another pass rusher would be their biggest need here.

Packers Pick 30- Tee Higgins WR, would be a dream scenario they need a receiver badly. If Higgins is not there expect Denzel Mims or Brandon Aiyuk or a host of other talented receivers at the backend. Would look to trade up as well.

49ers Pick 31- Noah Igbinoghene CB, secondary is the only thing you can need after the huge acquisition of Ruggs. Trade down spot for the 49ers.

Chiefs Pick 32- J.K. Dobbins RB, remember how much better they were when they had Kareem Hunt? Here we go again.
